Dr Michel Cockerham is a graduate of Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Master’s degree in Administration. She also holds a MBA and a PhD in Sales and Marketing. Dr Cockerham has held various executive and senior management positions focused on the development of business relations and the expansion of B2C and B2B offerings.
She is currently working full time as a Product Owner and Lead Trainer/ Associate Consultant for an international software and product development services company that stands as the leader in design-led digital engineering. She enjoys working with Ai in Machine Learning, training adult learners, and making connections with business professionals that last a lifetime.
Dr Cockerham served as VP of Business Development for Jamaica based international Customer Contact Centers, VP of Marketing for Atlanta based Venture Capital Firm, and constructed a system for contracting new B2B contracts for a national post-graduate educational program for Medical Residents and practicing Medical Doctors across the United States. She is VP of Business Development of a Kenya based Outsourcing Agency, and creates trusts and manages assets for various estates.
She is frequently tapped to provide insight on how to create and erect operational and technological systems using AI to expand non-profit and for-profit entities. Michel volunteers with Habitat for Humanity Homebuilders and has provided mentorship for the Miss and Teen Miss Black US Ambassador Pageant. She is the former Director of Business Development for Next Level Living, The Grace Tour, and the Jeremy Anderson Brand.
She conducts empirical research and presents academic, peer-review Lectures on Brand Loyalty and the Intergenerational Transference of Purchase Behavior. Michel sits on the Advisory Board of the TEQIP-III Sponsored International Conference on Gender Equity: Challenges and Opportunities, at the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, in Surat, Gujarat, India. The Conference published her paper, titled: Infusing Equity and Equality into the Discussion on Brand Loyalty: A Review of the Literature- she presented her paper as well. Subsequently, she served on the conference's Academic Review Board.
Dr. Cockerham served on an international think tank group based in the midwestern United States. During which, she worked on projects brainstorming to provide solutions related to agriculture and food, engineering, energy, and nation-building efforts within the global community. She served on the Board of Directors for a religious organization in Indiana for 4 years, and is currently serving on the Board of Advisors for the Veggie Taste, a plant-based, Atlanta-based food festival and wellness centered events company.
She is contributing author of the Amazon Best-Selling Book,
Chocolate and Diamonds for a Woman's Soul: Stories of Resilience, Grace, and Faith
a second collaboration, that was for pre-sale in August 2019: Say Yes to Your Purpose!
And also My Big Fat Ask, which will be headed to the market in 2024.
Her solo projects include the Going Vegan Transition Guide and Cookbook,
which was made available for purchase in October 2022.
She has a second health-foods book called Chewing is Overrated,
which will be made available later this year.
Twice, Michel served as guest host of Boss Ladies of Finance,
a Talk Show that is part of the CTN WGNM Network.
Michel served as a guest panelist for the Step Business Women's
Forum at the Commemoration of the Selma Bridge Crossing: Lift Your Vote 2019

Dr Michel was a cast member of the Business Women of Atlanta,
an Atlanta-based reality show and podcast for entrepreneurial women.
Academic, business, and leisure travel to London, Dubai, Cuba, and the Bahamas has shaped her into a
cultured, well-rounded, approachable, and adorable being.
Dr Cockerham is certainly straight forward, goal oriented,
she's approachable, and down to earth.
She grew up in the country woods of Two Egg, Florida and is a country girl at heart.
So ... you may catch her barefoot, out in the sun- picking wild plums, blackberries, and muscadines
or eating fried collard greens, fried mushrooms, baked sweet potatoes,
home-grown seeded jubilee watermelons, or made from scratch chocolate pudd'n!
In every spare moment, she loves to dance to her favorite tunes, hang out on the beach,
and work in the garden- tending to fruit, veggies, and herbs.
She also loves to travel and spend downtime with
her loving parents, grandmother, six siblings, four nieces, and ten nephews.
